In order to protect voting rights across Rhode Island, we need your help.

The Rhode Island General Assembly did not take up the Rhode Island Voting Rights Act for a vote in the 2026 legislative session, but legislators have expressed their interest in moving the bill forward in 2027.

In the meantime, here are ways that you and your network can act to support voting rights and empower voters in Rhode Island.

The Rhode Island Voting Rights Act (RIVRA) Campaign is led by Rhode Island Voting Access Coalition (RIVAC) members. Volunteer for Election Protection Efforts

Every election year, volunteers are mobilized to help our fellow Rhode Islanders navigate the voting process and cast their votes without obstruction, confusion, or intimidation.

Our nonpartisan voter protection program seeks to ensure every eligible voter who wants to vote can do so, and every vote is counted accurately. This program is not affiliated with any party, candidate, or issue campaign.
